This exhibit showcases the works of
Franz Koci.
Franz is a long time resident of the Crowsnest Pass and has been an
artist and educator for over 50 years. The works he selected for the show
are his woodcuts, linocuts and senographs.
Join us for cookies and coffee
and celebrate the long career of Franz.
Admission is free! Everyone is welcome.
Art Classes for Winter/Spring
DRAWING CLASSES with Curtis Stevens
Classes will take place six Thursday nights from 6 - 8 pm.
Dates: April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10.
Cost: $120 per person.
Refresher or Beginner - a fairly introductory drawing class. The class will
cover whatever the participants want to cover, but at the very least will
look into creating depth in their drawings; using line to express action;
perspective; figurative/portrait concepts and, mostly, learning how to see:
A mindful approach to observation and perception. Drawing things
how we see them...seeing things through how we draw them.
Materials needed: Sketch book, larger drawing pad (newsprint or white bond).
Set of drawing pencils, pen/ink if desired, charcoal pencils; Hard boiled
egg; Your thumb; Yardstick/broom handle/long branch; An art rubbing eraser
AND a malleable putty eraser.
POTTERY HAND BUILDING COURSE
At the Pass Pottery Club in the Sports Complex - Coleman
Project - LASAGNA CASSEROLE

Date: Wed., May 9th, 2012:
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Glaze Casserole
