  • Miners' Memorial   .... Sunday August 5, 2012 at 1 PM.  This will be the 102nd Anniversary of the 1910 Bellevue Underground Mine Disaster.   30 miners and 1 rescue man were killed on that day.

  • Half Moon in August .... August 18, 2012 (the only wilderness sprint adventure race in Alberta!) 8 Hour multi-sport race!  Something completely different for 2011. You will race in the mountains and hills around Crowsnest Pass in Southern Alberta.
  • Alberta Art Days ... Sept. 28-30, 2012  Marvel at the talents of local and other Alberta artists and their impressions of the spectacular Crowsnest Pass. The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre invites you to celebrate the arts and culture of Alberta.
  • Pumpkins in the Park... November 1, 2012... Flumerfelt Park 6-9 PM.
  • Christmas in the Mountains ... in Blairmore,  TBA                November  2012
  • Santa in the Park... December  2012  TBA  Bellevue Memorial Arena Park: 2-4 PM.  There will be live music, games for kids and free hot dogs and hot chocolate. Of course, Ole' St. Nick will be on hand to pass out treats to all children. We are hoping that Mother Nature will be cooperating so that the skating rink can be put in, but regardless we are planning an afternoon of excitement.

Crowsnest Sports Complex - Public Programming at the Crowsnest Sports Complex is now in effect until February 29, 2012.  Public Skating: Wednesdays 2 - 3 pm, Fridays 12 - 1 pm and Saturdays 1 - 2 pm. Family Skate: Sundays 2:30 - 3:45 pm. Parent/Tot/Sr. Skate: Wednesdays 1:15 - 2:00 pm and Fridays 11:00 am - 12:00 noon. Adult Shinny: Monday 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm.   Adult Rec Hockey Wednesdays 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm. (For registration & fee for Adult Rec Hockey contact Tracey at 562-8833. Pre-payment required). Special Programming for Tuesday, January 31, 2012: Public Skating 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.; Shinny 12 and under: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and Shinny 13 and over: 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Check our website at: www.town.crowsnestpass.ab.ca. Valentine’s Day Fun Run: Saturday, February 11, 2012.   9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Elks Hall located at 2025 -  129 Street, Blairmore, Alberta

Free Family Day Show,ALPHA & OMEGA at the Orpheum Theatre, sponsored by FCSS and the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass on Monday, February 20, 2012. Pass Powderkeg: The Pass Powderkeg Ski Area is now open with regular operating hours. The ski area has 5 runs and two lifts open on the Lower Mountain. All services including the Lodge, Ski School, Concession and Rental Shop are open. Please refer to the snow report for information on conditions. See you on the slopes! Allison Creek Cross Country Ski Report: January 27, 2012. Snow depth: Upper: 65 cm and Lower: 22 cm. New Snow: 5 cm.   Conditions: Warm/windy. New snow: None. Trails are packed and groomed and are in good condition.

Gymwalk: Indoor walking for all ages Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 am. at the MDM Community Centre until May 31, 2012. 

Older Adult Fitness Program - Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the MDM Community Centre.  No fee. Transportation available. Call for the Town Rounder at 562-8833. For more information call Tracey at 562-8833.
